Swimmer Inspires Nation By Swimming Slightly Faster Than Opponents

During the course of the competition, the swimmer did some number of laps and then touched the time-recording pad just before the other, more or less equally-skilled, swimmers.
As a result, the swimmer, who is well-known in the context of swimming, won several copies of the highest award in his sport.
This has raised the spirits of an entire nation to the point that they were able to look past the swimmer’s relatively small net worth when compared to winners of the top prize in other sports such as golf or football.
With the steady support of those who are close to him, the swimmer started swimming when he was very young, and continued swimming for a very long time to get ready for the most recent competition
Some investigations into the matter also suggest that his body is especially well-suited for gliding through the water at speeds about the same as his competition.
The swimmer’s nation appears, paradoxically, to have been most inspired when the swimming was closest.
In one instance where the swimmer didn’t seem like he was going to win (but later did), fans from the same country cheered louder than they had at previous swimming events.
The news media also showed many slow motion videos of the victory, highlighting how random and inconsequential the victory actually was.
At one point, the swimmer barely defeated other, more arrogant swimmers, while not becoming arrogant himself.
Those defeated, arrogant swimmers were even from a country that disagreed with the swimmer’s country about whether to have a war.
This made the victory even more inspiring and symbolic.
In order to swim ever so slightly faster than his competition, the swimmer had to do only swimming every day of the week for months.
This takes a lot of energy, so the swimmer also ate a diet which was a few times higher in calories when compared to people who do things that aren’t swimming.
Unfortunately, the swimming competition where the swimmer gained his fame is held sparingly, so that swimmer will be far too old by the time the next one rolls around to have any chance of inspiring the nation again.
There is, however, a small chance that pictures of him wearing all of the copies of his swimming awards will be revisited in the next few decades if someone else challenges the swimmer for the record for out-swimming other swimmers the most times.
