Olympic short track skater Apolo Anton Ohno has legally changed his name to Apolo Anton Ocho Cinco. The five-time Olympic medalist gave himself the “Ocho Cinco” nickname in 2007 after winning ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.”

The name is a reference in Spanish to the number 85, which, in Ohno’s hometown of Federal Way, Wash., is the channel that broadcasts ABC.

“Who knows why I do anything I do?” Ohno said at a Monday press conference. “But now everybody will know I won that show. When they think of the number 85, they’ll think of ABC, ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and me. It’s that simple. Green Day for life.”
