Obama Grants Gays And Lesbians Access To Watch Loved Ones Die

President Barack Obama took another step last week towards eliminating the American tradition of discriminating against those in the homosexual community. He announced that gays and lesbians would no longer be denied access to visit their partners in the hospital.

“I feel that those of the gay and lesbian community should be treated no differently than myself,” said Obama. “Therefore, they should have every right to watch their loved ones whither and die.”

The executive order is a landmark decision which many believe is laying the groundwork for the eventual repealing of the “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policy in the military. The new policy is being celebrated by many who feel that hospital visitation of loved ones should not be denied to anyone. However, some are not comfortable with the direction that the president is taking the country.

“America was founded on bigotry and hatred,” said James Dobson, founder of Focus on the Family. “We have a rich history of denying basic rights to all kinds of minorities. America has hated Indians, Blacks, Asians, Irish, Italians, Mexicans, Arabs, Gays and pretty much everybody else. That the president would go completely against the principles that our great nation was founded upon is deeply disturbing.”

The ruling has already been taken advantage of by hundreds of elated people who now have the opportunity to watch those they care about slowly drift away into death’s cold embrace.
