Obama Appoints Czar Czar To Overhaul Government Czars

In a press conference with newly appointed czar Lewis, Obama stated, “During the eight years George W. Bush was in office, we have seen the number of czars explode from a mere seven under Bill Clinton to a record 31 at the end of Bush’s presidency. The days of czarist rule in Washington are over.”
Wilma Lewis’ first act as czar czar was to round up all lesser czars and compile them into what she considers a far more effective advising body she has referred to as a Duma.
“Every czar in the Duma should be allowed to give advice to the president,” Wilma Lewis said during an interview on "20/20" this past Sunday. She added, “So any time they want to meet with me or send me an e-mail, I am more than willing to talk with them and pass along anything they have to say to the president.”
Many of the czars are upset by the recent announcement, with Great Lakes czar Cameron Davis being among the most outspoken.
“Right now there is a serious algae problem in Lake Huron, and the only people who know anything about it are me and czar Lewis,” said Davis in an interview. “The fine people of this country deserve better Great Lakes representation than they’re receiving,” he added.
As late as last night, scattered reports emerged that many of the members of the Duma have surrounded czar Lewis’ winter home in St. Petersburg, Fla., where she is currently staying with her husband, son, four daughters, doctor, valet and cook.
