Nicole Brown Simpson's Killer Still At Large

“A case like this never truly goes cold,” said O.J., face cast in shadow. “It may take me another 15 years, or even longer, but I stand true to my word: I will bring to justice whoever murdered my wife.”
Strong words from a man currently serving a 33-year prison sentence for armed robbery. But his resolve is unwavering.
Nearly two decades have passed since his estranged wife Nicole and her friend Ron Goldman were murdered by unknown assailants. Since then, Simpson assures, he has been tirelessly working on the pledge he made to bring the killer to justice.
“I moved to Florida after the trial,” Simpson said. “Not because the laws in Florida allowed me to completely avoid paying the civil settlement, but because I am sure that whoever ordered the hit on Nicole was hiding there, waiting and hoping I wouldn’t find him.”
Simpson reiterated that years of golf, autograph signings and other leisure activities were meant to lull the hit-man into a false sense of security.
“I’m a running back, for Christ's sake,” said Simpson. “They knew how much I wanted to plow them over.”
But his vigilante justice was not to be. Years of fruitless searching left Simpson short on funds to continue. A failed book and TV show left him in further financial straits. Then, in 2007, Simpson was convicted of armed robbery in Las Vegas and sent to prison.
Simpson sighed, “I just wanted to get some money to continue my hunt, man. For Nicole.”
“But you all need to know, her killer is still out there,” Simpson said. “Twenty years is a long time to wait, but justice will be served. But no guarantees about the civil settlement.”
