NASA Motivational Poster: ‘It’s Not Rocket Science!’ Fails To Increase Morale

NASA scientists were disappointed when their most recent effort at improving morale in the workplace failed to significantly increase productivity.

Codenamed the “Sagittarius Project,” the $3.7 million operation which produced a poster reading “It’s not rocket science!” was found to actually lower worker efficiency in all ten test locations.
    
“It’s disappointing to see [Sagittarius] not meet its expectations,” NASA Administrator Michael Griffin told reporters.  “We are currently analyzing the project to identify its flaws so that we can prevent the same mistakes from  in the future.
    
The exact cause of Sagittarius’ breakdown remains a mystery, but once it is determined and the proper funding is appropriated, NASA plans to restart the project.
