MyRed Fan Page Gains Third Fan

MyRed is still riding the wave of success with UNL students and students’ parents. A quick check of the Facebook page for the newish UNL administrative system shows it has gained yet another fan, bringing the total to three whole people.

The fan list includes UNL Chancellor Harvey Perlman, Vice Chancellor Juan Franco and Arkansas native, Neil Fitzer. Since its inception, MyRed has been a real hit with all of UNL’s citizens.

“I think it’s the hip way they capitalize ‘RED’, add ‘My’, and make it all one word. Or how I had to get a password and a TrueYou account before I could do anything else. Yeah, that’s why I dig it. Also, the homepage is so much more attractive and easier to navigate than WAM ever was. Really, I just love everything about MyRed,” sophomore Shelly Shellstein said in passing.

Parents of University students are equally impressed. Martha Short, mother of freshman Paul Short, has personally experienced the MyRed tagline: There’s a Link For That.

“I’m positively tickled every time I log into MyRed to pay my child’s bill. It’s like a treasure hunt looking for the link! A real joy after a long day at work.”

Neil Fitzer was also contacted for an interview, to explain why he loves MyRed.

“What? I’m just looking for My Red Tube, that awesome porn site. This isn’t it? Well, shit.”
