Although the major creative force behind a touching, 30-second Christmas commercial espousing the value of family, advertising account executive Aaron Lebber returned home from another soul-crushing, 14-hour day to a dark, empty house. A lingering sense of melancholy transformed the two-story suburban household into a twisting labyrinth of pain and isolation, reported Webber (sources close to him could not be reached, or found, for that matter), a dire reminder that everyone dies alone.

Lebber proposed the heartwarming credit card commercial -- in which a young boy braves seemingly insurmountable odds with the unlikely aid of complete strangers and finds his way home in time for Christmas -- to his team at Premium Content Marketing nearly two months ago, hoping to appeal to viewers' seasonal burst of goodwill and empathy. The idea was well received, despite the fact Lebber's own life has been completely barren of close friends, caring family members or even just people who don't openly mock him whenever he leaves the room.

Upon entering his dreary abode, Lebber discovered the only food available was a half-eaten can beans sitting his refrigerator's vegetable crisper. Collapsing into his armchair to enjoy his dinner, Lebber sorted through the day's mail, which contained five junk letters, two ad circulars and a notice his water was being shut off, contained in an envelope bearing a festive stamp of snowman hugging a reindeer.

As of press time, Lebber had fallen asleep in front of his television, watching a burned DVD of his commercial on infinite loop.
