The Huskers are set to leave the Big 12 after this season, and in order for a proper sendoff the DailyER has looked ahead at the Huskers Conference schedule.

WILDCARD: Coach fought in World War I

Oklahoma State: POSITIVES: No one really knows
WILDCARD: After taking Deon Sanders’ advice and redshirting his junior year, Dez Bryant returns to the starting lineup.

Missouri: WEAKNESS: Spent entire offseason gameplanning for Big 10 teams
POSITIVES: The Royals new stadium looks really nice

Its a student run mock-newspaper company in Lincoln, NE. Its like www.onion.com - Lighten up folks, its called a joke. They may not be the funniest, but don't get all bent out of shape.

Its not that we are getting bent out of shape because we find it offensive. Its not that offensive... It's the fact that as Nebraska fans, we are supposed to be classy, and this has no class. Sure, put it up somewhere on a humor article website, just not my beloved Huskerpedia. The last thing I wanted to see was the Husker fanbase stoop this low. We can beat all these teams WITHOUT trash talk, in typical Nebraska fashion.

I would hardly consider this trash talk. There are no real valid points made about the ability of any team. Its just an article poking fun of some Big 12 schools. I highly doubt any other school is going to look at this article and believe we are poor fans. If you haven't noticed, the Daily'er Nebraskan isn't exactly the Omaha World Herald.

I am a huge fan of politically incorrect humor, but even these lame attempts at jokes makes me look down in shame. There was nothing funny about trying to reach that far for a joke. Seriously, the Dez Bryant thing was a horrible attempt. THIS ARTICLE=HUMOR FAIL

This article is nothing but a slight to myself and the classier majority of Husker Nation. In our classy Brett Favre endorsed blue jeans and our oversized BO KNOWS tees over our classy Cheese Runza greased guts! I'm truly overwhelmed by our classiness sometimes. I'm sick of fellow Husker fans sitting on their high horses acting like they are above cracking jokes about rival schools. Nobody complained about the article on huskerpedia about the old lady who hated Texas because the way they won the 09 Big 12 title game was "low". Get over yourselves. We are the greatest fans in the world but it's not because we give opposing teams HJs after we play against them in Lincoln. It's because we love our team. Some of us love our team so much that speaking positively about them doesn't cut the mustard anymore. We have to entertain ourselves at the expense of a school who has problems on or off the field. I'm an American and I believe in free speech and free press. Plus I think this is hilarious. GO BIG RED! PS What's worse: joking about CU's rape cases or the fact that a bunch of girls got raped? It's just a joke.

Yes, oppie, you are right. We were once a very proud University, but look at us now. What shame, utter shame. Students are now out running around, making harmless jokes about about relevant topics! SHAME ON THEM. What happened to the good ol' days when an entire state looked the other way while the Huskers did steroids? Where have those days gone? This tiny campus, satirical newspaper is shattering our reputation with this piece alone! "Secured homefield advantage throughout Big XII post season"? HOW DARE THEY! Everyone knows that you CANNOT joke about Husker football. And that includes the Big 12! Why couldn't this paper at least have waited until we moved to the Big 10 to make fun of the Big 12?
