Famed German director Uwe Boll has announced his newest project, much to the immediate hatred of critics. Following the abysmal critical reception of his previous films, Boll has decided to branch into entirely new territory for his new film, “District Nein.”

“German audiences have long been starved of science fiction content created specifically for them. Now, with this entirely original idea, the drought is over,” Boll said.

“I wouldn’t say I’m angry, per se, that I’ve never had a film that broke even,” Boll continued. “It’s not my fault that critics don’t understand and audiences avoid my video game adaptations like the plague.”

The film, suspected to be a straight rip off of 2009’s successful “District Nine,” is already drawing it’s critics.

“When has he ever done anything good?” Critic Dwayne Perry was quick to ask. “I mean, Postal was funny in a deranged sort of way. And House of the Dead is pretty much the best ‘worst movie ever.’ But my point remains the same.”

The film is expected to be released in early 2011, draw poor box office results, and be pulled from theaters in less than 3 weeks.
