CAMPUS—According to University of Nebraska-Lincoln sophomore Kyle Winn, a member of the UNL Navigators, all he would like to do is talk to you.

“Do you have a second for our lord and savior Jesus Christ?” he asked. “How’s it going today?”

Winn, bearing nothing but the Bible’s New Testament and a Navigators t-shirt promoting their Fall philanthropic event, “Campus Inquisition ’08,” said his only objective for standing outside of the union with a clipboard, a pen and some paper is to “just ask you a couple of questions.”

“Do you attend a church service or Bible study?” Winn said. “The Navigators have a lot of fun. Oh man! We’re actually having an Island Party next week. You should totally come. It’s just going to be real chill. We’re going to eat s’mores and talk about the best ways to connect with the big guy in the sky.”

He added: “We’re going to baptize you, too, so make sure to dress accordingly. It’s good to have you on our side.”
